Natten mellan den 25:e och 26:e oktober är det dags att ändra klockan… igen.

Dra tillbaks klockan en timme, så t.ex. klockan tre (03:00) blir två (02:00) på söndag morgon.

Nördism? nya MacBook

Efter jag sett den nya MacBook pirrade till i magen.

Den är vacker, liten och teknologin inuti är mycket intressant. Att andra datortillverkare inte satsar mer på snygg design förstår jag inte, men de verkar satsa på någon slags design iaf…

Nu ska jag bara lyckas övertyga chefen att jag behöver en och den nya ”dockningsstationsskärmen”.

To Flash or not to Flash

NOTE: This post is just me typing to myself.

Why should one use a Flash piece on a webpage?

Is it for the ”kewl” factor or is it to enhance the visitors viewing experience?

There excists alot of wonderfull site which are all-encompassing Flash, but there are also excusit site that does not use Flash.

Some sites use Flash to get a ”common platform” for their developers, artists, content managers etc. There is not such a big problem with scripts, styles etc in new web browser as there where two years ago (2006). But there is still problems getting things to look the same in ”all” browser. Flash can help here, but it could also mean less userfriendly output.

If you want a site that should allow some nice print functionallity, it might be better to user regular HTML. But if you want the visitor to just consume your site(images, video, music) then Flash could really help.
